Acrylic Showcase

This was an exciting project to be involved in!  The new exhibit  ‘The Sopwith Pup’ (a real Biggles aeroplane) was going on display.  The front propeller was having a special place separate from the body of the plane and needed an acrylic case to protect it.

Yeovilton Museum asked Durleigh if they could produce a showcase for the propeller; which we did with pleasure.  We have done other work for Yeovilton Museum, the sign for the Swordfish Restaurant and various other acrylic showcases dotted around the place.
For us a visit to the museum is a pleasure in itself but also a treasure hunt to see where our signage and showcases are being used.
